Just drove by, fence is off so it looks really close to opening. Total number of chargers is 16. There are 2 on the other side

Awesome! I look forward to this one. It's the second-closest to my place and I'm keen to try it out. It was fun using the one at the Simi Valley Target. Thanks to those who've been doing the scouting, picture-taking and reporting!

There’s no way of knowing but once LADWP schedules a transformer install it’s probably a day’s worth of work. I don’t foresee having a huge delay in procuring a transformer so it will probably arrive sooner than you think. Judging by other sites and utilities lately it seems there has not been a huge delay in getting transformers.

After transformer is installed, assuming all permits are good to go, then it should be live soon after.

Looks like this supercharger station will be getting a 34.5kV subtransmission feed rather than from the 4.8kV distribution grid, which makes sense given 4.8kV's relatively low capacity.
The other superchargers in LADWP's service area will probably ending up being served at 34.5kV as well, I'd guess.

The new Bishop, CA site (apparently also served by LADWP) has a similar hookup:
