That’s about 4 blocks from our house. It’s not a big parking lot but basically never full. It’s a good location for a food stop. That strip mall has Subway, Bartley’s BBQ/bakery, Pho, and a bar and grill burger place. Within a 100-200 yard walk is Whataburger, Braums, Taco Casa, Popeye’s, Shipley’s, Pizza Hut, and taco window in a service station.

I’ll post some current state photos soon.

And don't forget the laundromat. . .

I want to say 8 stalls. I didn’t count because they were working (shout out to those workers, they seemed to be working hard and don’t think they even noticed anybody there). The cabinets look Tesla-ish but there was no markings to indicate Tesla. The concrete bases also look pretty wide in person, I’m not sure those are the V3 bases, are they? and are the same style as in Danvers, MA.

Thanks for the pics homero89.

We passed by this morning (Saturday) and there were a couple guys working. Here’s a more distant pic to help visualize where the work is going on. This is from about the middle of the lot looking South (Dooley is on your left and the intersection is NW Highway)…

Will be interesting to see if the SC’s have the new Magic Dock allowing non-Tesla’s to fast charge. That would be a good explanation for putting two locations that close together. I see Texas Best has wait times occasionally, so this new one could take some of the peak Tesla traffic, but could also service other makes.

A new Grapevine location shows up online in Tesla Supercharger map, supposedly opening Q2 2023. I assume it’s this one and they just put the icon on the city center instead of at the correct address.

Also some suggestion in the Tesla app for non-Tesla charging, that it may be coming to Texas (currently NY and CA). Unclear to me what those lock and other symbols indicate in this context…

i understand that sometimes you are constrained by the lot size and you take what you get, but is it better to have two 8 stall SpCs half mile apart, or one 16 stall SpC in a single location?
With the in car map showing availability, And no decent queuing method, I’d say two smaller ones.

Less people to fight over spots plus more redundancy.

Now if a charger has a nice queue at the entrance and a traffic cop, bigger would be better.
