There should be some updates on this soon. I heard Feb last I heard about this location. If someone can reach out to the local governments and ask around they'd probably find something.

There is a reference to them "actively working" on their Greenville site in an email someone received concerning the Charlotte SC opening this week.

It's interesting that the map at Supercharger | Tesla Motors shows Columbia or thereabouts as coming soon but nothing for Greenville.

I guess they bailed on the initial location, and are trying to replace somewhere in the area.

There is an article claiming one opened a few days ago in Anderson, South Carolina which is about 30 minutes from Greenville, but I do not know if its a Supercharger or an HPWC. Seems unlikely its a Supercharger. Anyone down that way have a chance to lay eyes on it?

They spent the night, and it's at the hotel. Most likely a destination charger (aka HPWC.)

I called the Inn there in Anderson. The guy didn't know anything about a charging station. He put me on hold for about 12 min. I finally hung up. Will check again later and ask for the janitor.

It is in Plugshare as a 1772 and HPWC. Sorry to burst that bubble, I wanted a SC there as well

I haven't done a lot of research or looking around for a new location, but I noticed about a week ago that the big white container that has been sitting in the lot at the old location is no longer there. Not sure what the significance of that is.

Yes I noticed it was gone almost 3 weeks ago too. I keep looking around the area at Greenridge, Magnolia Park, etc to see if it shows up there!

The Bleckely Inn is FABULOUS, the photos really do not do it justice. We stayed there last year, but had to travel with our ICE vehicle since the Charlotte and Atlanta SCs where merely a twinkle in Elon's eye. We were in the area for last year's Clemson graduation, and will stay here again for this year's graduation, this time with our S. This hotel is SO much nicer than anything available in or around Clemson.

I looked at plug share today, and there is a CHAdeMO comming to Greenville along with 8 or 9 here in NC. Be glad when I receive my adapt.
