It's a large diversion off I-80, but I suppose it could be used heading west if people aren't quite sure if they can make Hermitage, PA.
I stopped by Saturday to grab a coffee at Sheetz. A white Model X was parked, but not charging. The gentleman in the X was actually the electrical contractor working on the chargers. He said he couldn't tell me anything but stated the location would be online "soon." I don't Supercharge often, but judging by the cables I believe this is a V3 station.
Six stalls at Sheetz. One can order food/drink or pick stocked items at Sheetz which is a major retailer in the Mid-Atlantic region. McDonalds is next door. No one was charging when I was there tonight at around 10pm
I believe that these are V3 250 kW capable but no one is getting those speeds yet. The chargers are rated for it.
With that much snow, It's too cold probably for the speeds, unless you've really warmed up the battery. But that is a v3 cabinet.
I stop here frequently as I travel back and forth from Pittsburgh a couple times a month. Super convenient. Charged at around 800 mph Tuesday night/Wednesday morning around midnight.
Yes, definitely a V3. Charged here yesterday (55F with preconditioning) starting at 204kW, 807 mph in my LR RWD Model 3. This was my first V3 stop ever. The charge rate started to drop off pretty fast though. I only need about 10 min to have enough to get home so I did not get to see the whole taper. Nice new Sheetz station with the normal amenities. Covid-19 had all the tables put away though. Not easy walking access to Outlet Mall. I guess with charging so fast it is not really practical to go anywhere anyway. Thin power cord is very easy to handle, could feel some warmth in it. .
Here is another screen shot from my M3LR-RWD on an 82F day. It did briefly hit 250 kW. If you get distracted while at these chargers they are so fast that you will overshoot your intended charge point by 85 miles based on my experience!
Just a reminder to myself to update this site as being a V3 station tomorrow, or if anyone else wants to do it.
