I hear that construction at Gundagai starts soon - I'll post some pictures on the October long weekend, unless anyone gets there before me!

Was this the weekend just gone Kayto? From some of the above rumours this is the week things might start so you might have been just a bit early.

We passed through the mooted Gundagai site yesterday. Still no building activity that I could see.

Wow, excellent news. I regularly drive Canberra-Albury and Canberra-Sydney and dream of the day I can supercharge instead of stop at a filthy service station. Hurry up Model 3 (and please be Supercharger compatible!).

Yep. But not for a couple of days. They have "set" the Chargers and are about to pour cement
2-3 weeks in my estimate

currently driving from Sydney to Melbourne via Wodonga to Bairnsdale. Rolled into town with 20k on the meter, starting from 500k !!!!!

currently charging on a 32 amp industrial outlet through Timpo's charger at 85 km per hour. Nice folks in Bairnsdale

If you're looking for the best coffee I'd suggest Little Alice at 194 Main St. We spent a lot of time there on the way to Dinner Plain

Just the fact that you mentioned this is a worry :-(
But you are right... There's no guarantee the Model 3 WILL be SC compatible.
Mind you, it would be pretty dumb if it wasn't.

I suspect it will be an optional extra. Keeps the price of the base model down. Can be switched on by internet upon payment of a suitable profit margin.
