Supercharger - Gustine, CA (12 V2 stalls)

I've never figured out why there's a head-in stall at Gustine (where the blue Model 3 is)...it's not like you could use it towing a trailer because the trailer would block the aisle.

Yes, I’ve been to this Supercharger when towing and the parking lot aisles are much to narrow to charge at that pedestal without unhitching. Fortunately there are usually unused parking spaces nearby where I can unhitch.

We used the head-in stall while pulling a UHaul trailer. We didn't need to unhitch since the trailer was short enough that we weren't blocking the aisle. It was UHaul's 5 x 8' cargo trailer.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what you are talking about. Then again, I am often amazed at how picky people are about minor details when it comes to their Teslas.

From my trip north to Washington was able to catch this shot of my car at Gustine.

Which is fine, I find the panel gaps acceptable due to the awesomeness of the car

Good SuperCharger to skip. Yesterday about 8PM where I usually get 83KW, was getting at the begging 33KW and soon dropped to about 10KW and then 7KW and sometimes dropped to 0KW and jumped up about 30KW and back down to 7KW. Several others reported the the same problem.

Did you try different stalls?

A Model X & a Model 3 owner were waiting a long time for Tesla pick up on their call. When one of them started to talk to Tesla, I got enough charge to make it to Harris Ranch.

I was there in October, it was running just fine then. It's behind the Andersen's Pea Soup restaurant. The car didn't really need a charge, but I needed a restroom break so picked up 40-60 miles of charge while I took care of the call of nature.

I stopped by there on Monday, Nov 25 around 10am. Several other cars there. Was able get a fast charge. Typical stop for folks is around 30 to 40 minutes. Great place to walk the dog. Windy as heck on Monday. Hot soup from Pea Soup Andersons is good.

Just left on 11/30 at 4:45. All bays full and line was 18 cars deep. Car charged at lower than 36 kw. So slow.

Got enough of a charge to make it to Hollister with much better speeds.

Just got to Gustine. There’s a man contracted through Tesla to help keep track of the queue, 16 cars deep at this point. He’s taking pictures of license plates to remember the order, but not taking notes on phone numbers to contact anyone. So you gotta keep checking with him. No guarantees on how long.

Wow, guess I got lucky on the 27th. I was number 3 to charge. Speed was good, I added 100 miles in under 20 minutes.

Just left this supercharger. There was a trailer with chargers parked out front by the entrance.
