This will be so nice to have. I am a new owner and going down to Evansville and back up is stressful. I have to basically charge to full in Bloomington to make it to Evansville and back to Bloomington.

Wow! Your lucky, we need to charge there JUST to get back to Bloomington!!! Im surprised nobody has tested to see how fast they are charging...

That is what we ended up doing. We were on a time crunch to get to Evansville, but didn't have a restriction getting back so we charged in Bloomington enough to get there. We spent the night in Evansville some in the parking garage the rest parked at the Hyatt. We arrived with 14% SoC and that wouldn't get us anywhere useful. Haubstadt would have been perfect.

Well, we know the transformer was recently installed. And it may have power (based on your previous posts, this may be something you know for a fact even though no one had yet said so explicitly in the thread). But has the Tesla supercharger team commissioned the site yet so that it actually delivers electricity when a car plugs in? Because just energizing the location isn't enough for cars to be able to charge.

The Tesla dude was at the new Louisville SCer yesterday activating it, maybe he's headed to Haubstadt next to activate it? Look for a white Model X.

I was going off of the Tesla charger map and the other responses here. I’m new. I assumed Tesla would update their maps when it went online officially.

A friend just stopped by. He said there are cones in front of the chargers and the lights on top weren’t on.
I’m trying to convince him to move a cone and plug in anyway.
