I think that's a high voltage junction box. The actual transformer will go on the still empty pad protected by the yellow bollards.

That is definitely the transformer.

The Tesla techs are testing right now. One of them told me that after they finish, they will send an email to the team. They will power them remotely after they input the info into the system.

I noticed the techs were gone on my way back from lunch just now. I plugged in just for fun and it... worked! Not on the map yet though, so not official just yet

This is probably the death sentence for the SpaceX supercharger at the Tesla Design Studio. Can’t see them keeping that one public any longer...

No it’s a bug (typo), same thing happened at Simi Valley

I got a charge there on Saturday. These V3 chargers are so fast - barely had time to shop at the target.

This also marked my 40th supercharger location visited!

Charging here now. Arrived with 17% charge. I peaked at 165 kw /hr and then it went down hill from here. At 50% I was already down to 65kw / hr.
Kinda disappointing. There’s no one here. So I should be getting full speed. I use to goto Space X and I got 247kw mad and normally averaged 170 kw. This doesn’t seem right.
