When I charged there in January, it looked like there was a shell of a restaurant or cafe under construction next to the servo next door. Am I imagining things? That would be very convenient if that’s what it is (or will be).

Nothing there yet... and its been like that since I got my car in October.
It would be an odd place to put anything. Nothing else really close by.
I'd guess whatever goes in there would not have extended trading hours.

Coffee shop would be out, as the servo has coffee and some hot food.
Looks like it could be a drive through of sort...
Macca's, KFC, Subway, Hungry Jack's are already in the area. What's left?

The first post in this thread indicates it is a petrol station to be constructed, I think this is still the case.

Yep. Trademarks are often only for specific categories so you can have multiple companies using the same name but different logos in differing industries, and each country has their own system.

Suspect Musk will run into issues with X as well (the rebranded Twitter). While he's long held the x.com domain name, Microsoft will have IP around X for gaming given their XBox line.
