Thanks for the update! I am in Helena once a week and I try it out religiously every week. As soon as it goes live I will be posting a video of me doing a cartwheel.

Really would like to see that cartwheel by June 16th. Great Falls would be even better but Helena would help.
Well thankfully for you, the 16th is still a little off because I am happy to report that for our GF location , we received the pedestals and have them installed, FINALLY YEA! So by mid June, we may have them up and running. Maybe if all goes to plan.

Any activity in the last couple weeks? Still hope that it would be ready by 16th or by my return through on the 21st.
I'm sitting at the chargers right now, and they are still not lit up. I've heard reports of some chargers elsewhere in the nation being turned on this week, so maybe that's a sign that these ones will get power soon? One can hope!

Great. I-15 is orange. 168.5 miles from Helena, MT to the north end at Sweet Grass, MT. Need Great Falls, MT or Shelby, MT to "complete" I-15, but really need Shelby, MT to make the connection better to Canada.

Also, with the Canadian border closed, Sweet Grass is still a tough drive in a Tesla. Great Falls-Sweet Grass-Great Falls is about 240 miles.
Sorry, just in my own head. It's some color-coding I use for distances >150 miles and <= 200 miles.
Well, the first step of being to make a round trip is being able to reach the destination.

Fantastic! I'm going to Cascade next week and was hoping to use it! My original plan was to go there directly from Missoula, but that's a 155 mile stretch with no good pit stop in there (we are taking a 6 month old with us). Plus my wife hates twisty roads, so even though going through Helena is a little bit longer, it's more freeway and we don't have to charge as long in Missoula.
I wonder why Tesla took so long activate all these Montana sites after being built? Ultimately they got it done before the holiday weekend and my trip, so I'm now happy again!

Hey we should really let Super 1 in Helena know how much we appreciate them hosting the Superchargers! After all, they are looking to host the Kalispell location, and I think it would be helpful for them to see the benefits of having Tesla customers!
I'm planning to be there Friday July 3rd around noon (11-1). Let's fill up the stalls at that time!!!
