Supercharger - Henrietta, TX

If you look around at the 'under construction' superchargers, an amazing number of them are all done, but waiting on pedestals !

There must be a production problem, or a redesign that makes the old pedestals incompatible.

Note that they used prefabricated pedestal bases here in Henrietta, which was new.

Actual activity today. The electricians where there running wires between the small transformers and the back end power modules. They also appear to all be tied in to a control/switching cabinet. Maybe this means that some pedestals will be arriving soon. I will not be able to swing by again until next week. I would love to come back next week and see some pedestals.

They were some pretty massively thick wires that they were running... A lot of power....

I talked to the technician and he told me that he had a non disclosure agreement and he couldn't talk about anything. Is not working for Tesla so hes not sure the rest will come. He said he was trying to finish his work this week.

Another day, another visit... No progress. But, it does look like they could have been working on sprinklers, a wooden pallet was over a hole in the ground that looked like it was caused by broken pipe. Close to the main transformer. Perhaps there were sprinklers going to the now dead trees...

The day is getting close... Look what has finally arrived:

The pedestals were finally on site and being installed. The electricians were busy pulling wire from the back end cabinets to the pedestals and putting them together. Perhaps they will be done, inspected, & meter installed by next week (no meter yet, assume city wants to do final inspection).

Note appear to be just regular V2 pedestals, I wonder why they took so long to appear. As you can see with the covers off they are pretty simple inside, just a cord attached to the incoming wires.

Thanks for the update! I’m headed that direction tomorrow. Bummer I can’t use it but oh well.
