So basically you and one other guy.
I am the other guy.

I’ve gone that route when coming from the coast via Lincoln City and McMinnville on OR-18 a year or two ago. There was major weekend construction in Portland and I5, 205,405 and even OR-26 were backed up with 30-60 minute delays. So we cut cross-country as best we could to get onto OR-30 northeast-bound to get to Longview. I’m sure we came within a few miles of this new SC.

Not sure if this can be counted as progress. There are markings from Blackstone and arrows to the right side of the alley all the way from the Target building.

That is fantastic news! It is for a locate request. All the other utilities will come out and mark their stuff so that Blackstone does not hit them while digging for the supercharger.

Now the question is weather this locate is for engineering planning purposes, or if it is for actual construction purposes!

Exciting!

The ticket expiration is 10/10/20, does this mean they are hoping this location is completed by then?
Honestly I don’t think you can read anything into the dates on these. It could be just this segment (install utility service) could be complete by then but it takes till spring before stalls and cabinets show up... it could be the whole project is done by then... or it could be the file an updated one that pushes it out further.

One thing is they do seem to close out all their active builds before winter sets in, so maybe November at the latest?

Sorry for the bad nighttime photos, but some of the underground materials have shown up on site! (The pedestal bases, etc...)

I suspect these crews go from one site to the next production style. I suspect they have this process down! The long lead time will probably be the utility work from Portland General Electric.

Exciting to get one in my backyard!
