Tonight's Tesla map update has kept this location as target opening Q4 2022, which seems to fit with what we are seeing reported on the ground.

Why is that on the Safeway location? It’s been open for a year now.

This is a second location at another Safeway in Hood River. This was actually supposed to be the original supercharger in Hood River but the agreement fell through & then was revived after the other site was completed.

Pacific Power was pulling wire to connect to the local power yesterday, Nov 22. Today, they were connecting the newly installed wires to the SC itself.

With the map update, they removed the pin at the new location on Anchor way, east of the current location, and put it at the current location at Safeway. And the current pin was removed as well. Weird.
There is not a second Safeway in Hood River. There is funny business with the pins. The new location is on Anchor way along the river by some breweries and a distillery. No Safeway in sight.
We went by the Anchor Way site this evening. The painters were there finishing up the lines/striping. The chargers were not active yet, but everything looks ready to go. Beautiful site and a perfect location. This one is going to be popular.
Is Tesla getting confused? The Safeway location opened in Q4 2021. Anchor Way location is opening in Q4 2022. Are they giving at Safeway location confused with the Anchor Way location. The only other grocery store in Hood River, is Rosauers.

Electrical passed final inspection in September but still waiting on stormwater final.
Wonder if it will need the storm water finaled before they turn it on.

It doesn’t appear that the “TESLA” letters are lit on the pedestals. Hard to tell from a daytime picture but maybe you noticed one way or another.
On Dec, 2 only one had the Tesla letters on. In my video there is a person with a Tesla, probably a Tesla employee working on the supercharger.

Usually this is what it looks like when the site is being commissioned by the Tesla employee. And then the site is active later that day. Perhaps he found something wrong though and couldn't activate it immediately.

Still not active, as of Jan 17. The Tesla signs on the chargers are not lit. There may be some landscaping left to do, but it's pretty minor.
It's showing online in Tesla mobile app and on Tesla.com/findus
