Just a few additional UG conduits with stub ups ran over the weekend and some sawcuts to concrete where pedestals will sit. These pedestals will be situated front of curb as opposed to back of curb in the landscaping or grass. It also appears they will be running parallel to the parking stalls (based on the sawcuts) and will basically be positioned on the painted parking stall lines. Not my favorite setup as I feel it increases the risk of damage sitting on the front side of the curb in the parking lot, but I'm local and will rarely charge here. Included a picture of the form for the charging pedestal base.

Equipment pad is ready for concrete
6" UG conduits for main feeders underway
3 of 8 pedestal bases formed
And a ton of good concrete busted up?

Far east pedestal has a high curb to accommodate storm water drain and will require a wheel stop or a careful eye when backing up to the charger.

They're moving right along!
Wire arrived today which they can pull from pedestals to supercharger cabinets to Switchgear, then it's a waiting game until CenterPoint installs utility pole and transformer. GC isn't allowed to run ug conduits within 20 ft of the utility pole location, so that will follow along with secondary feeders. I wouldn't expect it to be live before memorial day weekend.

Anyone else a little freaked out about all that electricity right next to the storm drain given Houston’s policy of using streets for flood control?
Not sure I follow your concerns, but CenterPoint is requiring GC to incase the primary feeder conduits (down pole into transformer) in something like 3' x 3' of concrete. That's hella overkill, but being that close to the storm water line warrants it...I guess.
