GC is about to be out of things to do and waiting on power to the site...big surprise there, haha.

GC is now officially waiting for CenterPoint to bring in power. GC has pulled their trailer and have a more secure shipping container to store the wire.

For the times I've been to the SC at the I-45 N Service Center around lunch, I generally see all six stalls occupied.

Rudy's gets wicked busy during lunch and suspect ICE'ing will happen. These spots are as far as you can get and still be in Rudy's lot, so hopefully it won't be an issue.

They need to start painting the spots like at some of the other locations. It makes it VERY OBVIOUS that the spot is for special use. Also, I like the charging station positions. It might encourage people to not park there because they are shitty parkers and don't want to damage their car.

Agreed...look at the SC parking spots in Mexico.

Drove by last night. It’s a pretty big site even though there are only 8 stalls. They have all been installed. I guess they just need to clean up the site (it’s pretty dirty) and turn on power now.

There’s more to do than that, as there is no power to turn on.

CenterPoint must first set utility pole, then GC can finish primary feeder conduits up the pole.

Then transformer will be needed to run the primary...at that point, the power can be turned on.

Appears that CenterPoint has came out and marked the locations of the 3 poles needed to get power to the site.

Pole 3 is shown in the picture and pole 1 and 2 are on either side of Windfern in the Right Of Ways.

And sod has been laid.

Utility "Pole 3" set and GC is now completing the main feeder conduits.

No Pole 1 or 2, just the stakes marking their locations.

Site status is back to waiting on the utility provider (CenterPoint) to set 2 more poles which are onsite and the transformer.
