I wonder if Wawa is contributing to the cost of installation, since it seems like Tesla would have other priorities for its supercharger budget.

I don’t think so. A friend of mine who owns several strip malls in Jersey was approached by Tesla to put SCs in one of his properties. No rent from Tesla, no construction expense from him. The draw is captured audience for about 30-45 mins that can bring traffic to its tenant stores like Banana Republic, Apple, Anthropology, etc. not that he needs additional traffic, he just has a big parking lot.

Drove by this proposed Supercharger spot in a Wawa station today. Finally sign of construction, looks like underground conduits are being placed.

Drove by today. They made some progress. I like how they designed it like an island so you can park on either side.

Awesome! It's a V3 Supercharger, so it should be faster than Tinton Falls charger which is V2.

I did charge at this location today. It was very convenient, just 2 minutes off of route 33. Tinton Falls would've been a bigger detour.

My battery was at about 33% and I was getting almost 800 miles an hour at one point. I’m sure had the battery been dead I woulda gotten more.
