Time for the weekly update!

Looks like the switchgear cabinetry, main cabinets, and smaller transformers are all set. Still no sign of the pedestals for the cars yet though.

Looks like the pallets and plywood pieces ringing the equipment pad might be covering up the holes for where bollards would go.

Looks like waiting for pedestals and the meter to be installed on the transformer.

Wasn’t expecting the landscaping to be done already.

Signs went up yesterday! The left 5 say charging only and the right 5 say 30 minute parking, seems like an odd choice to not have them all say the same thing.

It's a common compromise to the property owners so as not to reserve too many spots for Tesla use only. The 30 minute parking spots are open to anyone, Tesla or not, charging or not. If done correctly, each charging cabinet should be split between one Charging Only spot and one 30 minute spot.

Seems to be a national backlog on pedestals at the moment. Several under-construction sites are waiting for them.

Are they manufactured in the states or internationally? Wondering if the tariff and spat with China may be holding them up?

Nope. V2 as discussed back in April.

Still no progress on site.

No new progress (for weeks now) on another Michigan site in Swartz Creek either. Might be a parts shortage.

I drove by today and noticed three skids laying next to the cabinets. Must have been delivered in the last week. Inside are 2 SC posts per crate. Hopefully this means that this site will be complete soon.

I wonder if this means the pedestal shortage is over. Let's hope so.
