Drove by this morning. They’ve definitely tidied up the place, only one small fenced area around the SC. Speed bumps are there too. I’m thinking all that’s left is probably inspection and turn on power. Looking good!
thank you - I didn't see it on any of the pics previously so pessimistically (realistic for SCs?) assumed if was still to be installed.
Was driving by and snapped some photos of the stalls and spools that were lying around. Doesn't look like too much has changed this week.
Drove by today. The fence around the SCs is gone, it’s been replaced by yellow tape on the units. There’s still some cleanup needed. It’s getting closer!
That's the wait I was expecting then the meter, then the inspection followed by the inevitable remediation, then re-inspection and finally....Tesla come to commission it! Sorry for the pessimistic view, just wanted to add realism to it The contractors from Tesla are usually the fastest part once its started. There's a whole bunch of paper pushing that happens now.
My wife will likely head down to support her sister (2nd knee replacement) who lives in Boerne in about 6 weeks. This may be open just in time....she will likely have a few trips so even if it isn't ready initially, she might get a chance to use it on a follow-up trip. Decent timing. Of course the last time she topped off at the San Antonio, SC and made due with 110 charging!
When I drove by yesterday around 6PM they were working on the pad, putting those protective poles. I feel the install of the transformer is probably coming soon
Almost there ... this is today. (Monday, 9th) LEON_SPRINGS_SC by edigest posted Mar 9, 2020 at 10:06 AM LEON_SPRINGS_SC_2 by edigest posted Mar 9, 2020 at 10:05 AM
Someone reported a transformer on a pad today. I think their is the location based on pictures. Unless there is another one going in nearby (Boerne)? I think k this is the location based on street name.
Art on Austin-San Antonio area Tesla Owners group on Facebook posted transformer picture with power going to it... He also posted a picture of the power pole but that is kinda boring.
Wow, looks like my wife will indeed get to use these middle of next month when she drives down to see her sister (barring any CNV-19 interruption of that trip).
