Supercharger in Brighton?

Does anyone know where Tesla are building their charger site in Brighton, East Sussex?

The best site to look for these is www.supercharge.info, but I don't see any building permit or construction found in Brighton yet.

I believe the Tesla site lists it for 2022, it's a bit early in the process to get that type of information I think.

Brighton is absolutely awful for new green technologies. Even a simple solar install (in Hanover) only a small 3.7kW system on a house in Hanover requires a full planning application with architectural drawings (despite my business Leoht providing a 3D model, it has to be on the correct paper size, it can’t be an interactive 3D model). Months later, still no progress.

Tesla said 2017, then 2018, 2019...then 2020....now 2022. They’re dealing with Brighton council so I wouldn't hold our breath.

Thanks for the background. It’s very frustrating especially as we have just permit parking at home. The lampposts are always blocked.

Which is shocking considering the Green Party MP.

Any developments recently? I just noticed that tesla removes the date from the map and now just says “opening soon”
