Supercharger in Enfield, NS not plowed out.

So there was some snow last Thursday around Halifax, Nova Scotia. Pulled in to the Supercharger in Enfield today (Sunday) to an icy mess. This is part of a larger parking lot and the rest of the lot is bare pavement. Did Tesla forget to pay the snow clearing contractor?

So there was some snow last Thursday around Halifax, Nova Scotia. Pulled in to the Supercharger in Enfield today (Sunday) to an icy mess. This is part of a larger parking lot and the rest of the lot is bare pavement. Did Tesla forget to pay the snow clearing contractor?

Tesla's general supercharger lease agreement state responsibility for snow plowing the lot (along with other general area maintenance) stays with lot owner, not Tesla. So, I'd guess that this was just a mistake on their part. Of course, for any specific location that might not be the case, negotiations being what they are. Either way, if you haven't already, you should call Tesla to report the issue and get them to contact the site owner or otherwise rectify it.

I was prepared to feel sorry for you. Unplowed snow making it hard to charge in Canada? Must be at least a meter deep! Get out the snow shovel that you keep in the trunk.
