Update 03-10-15

I visited the Supercharger over the weekend still no power, no other changes. I'll keep
visiting the site on the weekends and checking status unless someone checks in first.
Have a great one!

Thanks fstetch. This sucks though. I am going up to Mammoth for the final time this season and will just have to borrow the minivan. :scared:
My next trip up 395 will be end of June when I am going to Yosemite via Tioga. I would love to take the Tesla, but would need Lee Vining open. I can't find any data on that potential site though.

I drive OC (mission Viejo) to Ridgecrest every week. Last weekend I stopped in Rancho Cucamonga for the first time and charged to 270 miles - made it to Ridgecrest with just over 100 miles of charge left which should be more than enough to get you the additional 65 miles to Lone Pine. As for Inyokern - not sure what's happening there, I checked in with the construction crew when they were building the charging station in February - they told me they were expected to be done Feb 6, but give it an extra week, no-one seems to know what the delay is.

Update 03/20/2015

(Site is possibly live) waiting on confirmation.
I checked on the site this afternoon and noticed the traffic cones were gone and new parking lot lights were recently installed. I went into the Inyokern market and asked if the Supercharger was up and going and they confirmed it was. They mentioned someone was charging this morning.

I didn't have my car to test it out personally, perhaps someone can get charging specs when they visit. Here's one last update picture. Have a great weekend!

Inyokern SC now open, some intriguing pics re: what's coming, & one issue

Drove 3/19 from Death Valley to Lone Pine and charged at the SC there. No red balloon yet at Inyokern. Got up this AM and there was a red balloon there! We charged - Did we just christen this SC? Pic of rebar for massive columns, with pic of tag showing they belong to Tesla. These are no doubt for a shade/solar panel structure. There's just no better place for it than Inyokern! Owner of the market says they had planned to put it up right away but that part of the project is now delayed. (I'm assuming this is because they are focusing on getting SC stations up and running ASAP, so less emphasis on installing solar). (Click on pic to zoom, I assume? )

& an issue: The top of the curbs have been shaved off so they aren't as high, but they are still too tall and hit the underside of the car. The car is just barely close enough to plug the cable in. So raise your suspension before backing in, and remember to raise it again if needed before pulling forward.
