I wonder if they're going to put it in the Issaquah Target instead? Just because this was announced now doesn't mean the deal with Target hasn't been in the works for a few months, which would explain why they broke ground in Fred Meyer's and then closed up shop.

Hope it's not at the Issaquah Target. The parking lot near Target is typically full most weekends. Plenty of other places in the parking lot for this shopping center.

I’ve given up on this location, so odd that there were Tesla crates here before Christmas! It’s a very busy parking lot and the traffic for the two blocks from I-90 would be two strikes against this location anyway, hopefully there will be one located near the outlet mall at North Bend, probably the optimum location for Tesla’s bypassing Seattle on Highway 18. The electric shopping cart in the photo is occupying one of the hopes for charging spots.

Generally speaking businesses that already host EV charging stations are more likely to end up hosting a supercharger as well. Not less likely.

That's exactly what I've seen at Ellensburg Supercharger.
Also other locations like Whistler(BC), Squamish(BC), and Monroe(WA) have EV chargers nearby.

I just looked at the Tesla website. It's now saying there will be a SuperCharger in Issaquah coming in 2018. It wasn't on their map before.

Now both Issaquah and Snoqualmie are slated to get superchargers in 2018.
