This almost certainly means Allentown will be 8+8. Hopefully Somerset too but that one is different - two separate service plazas, not one accessible from both directions.

16 total stalls under construction at Hickory Run service plaza of PA turnpike in Carbon County accessible from I-476. Because plaza is segregated by northbound and southbound traffic, 8 are being built in each lot

Was driving southbound on 476 today. I can confirm 8 brand new Tesla chargers in place at hickory run! I suspect will be open very soon.

PPL, the local electric utility, does not install a meter until the electrical work has been inspected. Maybe Tesla is waiting on something else prior to starting up the stations.
