A new Supercharger is coming soon to the Canadian Tire in North Grenville. I wasn't told how many stalls are being added but I would assume it will range between 8 and 12.

Non-update: Went to the site yesterday and did a careful look around the entire area for any indication of pending supercharger construction - none found.

There’s fresh utility locate flags all around the main transformer beside Canadian Tire. Utility locate flags are more beautiful than tulips popping from the ground in the spring.

Great news to hear construction has started. I often make the round trip from Gatineau QC., to Ogdensburg N.Y., to import my US and other foreign purchases that don't ship to Canada or have exorbitant shipping fees to Canada. Normally this trip is easy even with multiple extended stops and the battery cooling down in fall and winter. But on the coldest days, below -20C it is really touch and go (it has happened 3 times over the years) so this site will serve as a great "safety valve" on the way home. It will also be a great final charge when coming home from further afield rather than Kingston.

For the few times I drive from Florida to Gatineau, this is going to be nice to have. Last time I was not pleased about having to spend an hour at Watertown just to make it to Nepean.
