Aiming to be done for the next wave, no doubt. Will be tough holiday travel based on the weather forecast. They are working on paving it now... it's not available now
Tesla just announced the next period of free off-peak charging:May be wet, but I don't see SNOW on the Grapevine. That's good. Wonder what the access to free charging situation will be during the travel week. Sounds like EA gave away power all over the country for the week around Thanksgiving and previously on July 4th, and Tesla did their off peak free charging. Look forward to some more crowded Superchargers. Exciting!
how many stalls were available?I was there yesterday around 2pm and one of the rows of chargers was working.
No paving was happening yet.
did they say when they plan on energizing it? Did they also install a megapack?Nav showed 55 open at the time i arrived but only about half were on. Maybe 8 others cars charging. A couple Tesla guys were there working on the cabinets and told me the row I backed up to wasn't energized. (of two rows total, i believe)
As long as they are able to get most if not all 56 stalls working I don't have any issue. Having to wait a little while during Thanksgiving holiday travel was a minor inconvenience.Signs are up that paving will not happen until January.
how many stalls were working? Was here yesterday afternoon. The original one had only a dozen spots left so we decided to head to this one, which has almost 40 chargers free. Between the two locations there were at least 50 spots, which was great given that the Bravo farms area was otherwise a zoo - there was so much holiday lunch traffic backing up that exiting was not easy.
As others have mentioned, it is intended to be paved in January. Right now the ground is sand/gravel so it isn’t a slush pit despite the rains. Easiest places to access are Bravo farms and the In-n-out .
Sorry I didn’t check physically but the in dash display didn’t list anything as not working. There were cars spread all across the lot social distancing in a way so it seemed like everything was running. With family plus dog I didn’t venture to look much more closely.how many stalls were working?
oh okay so all 55 were on? Because before you could only access 28 stalls and then 40Sorry I didn’t check physically but the in dash display didn’t list anything as not working. Yes I saw 55 listed and ~40 available in the display. There were no additional notes about any stalls being offline as I've seen in some other places.oh okay so all 55 were on? Because before you could only access 28 stalls and then 40
