They did let me take some pictures of the transformer though. 35,000 volts on the left from the primary wires at the closest pole. Then to a bus bar to the pedistal transformers.

There's a substation next to the transmission lines, at Henderson and Saulin, only about 200 yards away. I don't know much about electrical infrastructure... is that part of the equation when deciding on a charging location? Is that why they can put in 16 charging stations here?
