Does anyone else get the feeling that the Aussie rollout of super chargers has stalled?

I know I know, red tape et al. But c'mon... Really? And finished by end of December? Looks a little too tight for me.

At the Martin Place launch event the local chief re-committed to Sydney -> Brisbane by the end of the year.

Once they start the construction goes pretty quickly. Port Macquarie didn't take long to do at all, so there is still 5 months to go.... I was hoping that it would have been done before the end of April but made the trip without drama anyway, just a stop at Coffs showground.

Goulburn was the first outside of Sydney last year and did not open till 16/9 according to supercharge.info so they can easily complete before the year end at this stage.

Interesting! I check the Newcastle and Port Stephens Council websites for DAs regularly but haven't seen anything. I'll take another look...

I drove through Heatherbrae twice yesterday!!! I will pop go through there slowly next time. It is just a big end of the freeway business park pretty much, there isn't that much construction going on, so if it has started, it cannot be that hard to find!!

I did the "slow drive-by" but couldn't see any works. Checked basically the whole highway from the pie roundabout and south.

I'm a local and can easily swing past there once a week. I will call into the motel and ask, I'll have a look around the BP as well as it has a big set of food shops around and behind it. If it has actually 'broken ground' it shouldn't be too hard to find as it normally results in a pad for a sub.

It shouldn't replicate. This thread should just be about the Byron location. Every other new supercharger location has had its own sticky thread until commissioning.
