That seems inefficient…
All unavoidable steps in taking high voltage AC grid power and gently easing it into batteries not much larger than AA.
Each step has losses, and lots of research has gone into making those losses as small as they are.
Not my photo. But, taken today. Seems like no change since the last photo.
Come on I wanna go for a road trip already
Surely it won't be too much longer.
I'm sure they're just waiting for some juice...everything needed to charge Tesla wise looks to be there.
Not my photos but taken today. Looks like still not much change.
Well, the parking li es have been changed. And the fence has been moved closer to the superchargers. How much longer? :-(
Oh! The gray cabinets are new! Pixie supply?
Ha, did you used to do lots of those 'spot the difference' puzzles as a kid?
My sport of choice. I won the nerdlympics. He he.
Any more news? The holidays are a week away and I'd love to roll in the Tesla but it's a bit hairy Coffs Harbour to Gold Coast in a 70.
If I were you you I'd assume it won't be energised by then. It still doesn't have a power supply. The 3/32 HPWC at Ballina Eye Centre is a great backup option.
Coffs to Gold Coast should be easy in a 70 as have gone both ways in my 70D fully loaded with luggage and pax with careful driving at around speed limit.
Last time I skipped Coffs and went straight from Port SC to Ballina for a small top up before heading to GC.
Do you have access to a charger on the Gold Coast?
Not today, maybe not even tomorrow but probably tomorrow.
Not my photos. But, taken today. Word is it will be operational on Saturday.
What is the purpose of the blue jousting knight?
It's what they do; they are a castle.
Macadamia Castle - Welcome to the Macadamia Castle
I'll be driving by on Saturday on my way to in-laws. I'll take pics, hopefully with Nykola supercharging for the first time!
