Probably bad assumption. I remember reading the prefab units were 4.

The actual coordinates are 30.013004, -97.862665. on the side street (Evans Drive) next to Five Guys. Needs to be marked as under construction. Drove by today. Definitely 8 stalls.

I remember seeing one that has three of these prefab units.
Nice to see they have two or three of them up at the giga factory, but I'm guessing they may not be public access once they're installed

Stopped by Kyle SC today about noon. Very little if any progress since the 26th. Here is a photo of all eight pedestals taken from bank parking lot across Evans Drive.

Stopped by Kyle SC again today. There are now 16 pedestals! Still NOT operational. Eight on the side of Five Guys and eight in the back. Most of the pedestals are visible in the photo.

I skip Waco SC by using Italy SC to Austin - Research SC (146 miles). You can also use Alvarado SC to Austin - Research SC (161 miles). I am driving a Long Range Model X

Agree. I currently do both. But I’m usually 60-70% at Alvarado. Not the most optimum. And research is a urban rated charger.

It doesn't show up in the car yet for me but we all know that it takes a little longer for those to appear anyways. I wonder if all 16 are operating or just 8? From that last pic it looks like there were still parts that were boxed up. An hour and a half drive... Hmmm... How bored am I today? LOL

What do you mean by "rated charger". And is Waco a bust because of construction still. I was there a year ago and it was terrible then.

Austin research blvd chargers are the urban supercharger variety. Something like 72kW max.

Looks like a good site. Anybody have recent comments/issues here? I'm heading from North Houston to Fredericksburg this weekend (actually staying near Johnson City so will grab a picture of construction there) and might divert through Bastrop and Kyle rather than going through Austin and 290 on the west side of Austin which has been a mess every time I've been there (and sounds like it still is).
