Skipped San Marcos supercharger today and went to this site. It was not as busy as San Marcos.

It's also right off the freeway and not surrounded by awful outlet mall traffic.
Stopped here on Thursday on the way to Johnson City from The Woodlands (north Houston). Pretty nice spot, good number of (v3) chargers, local traffic wasn't bad for getting in/out. Man the Austin area in general is bad these days though. Feel bad for all the locals. We have a friend in Dripping Springs we had brunch with on the way home and it seems nuts in the whole area.
Back to the topic of the Kyle supercharger, holy *sugar* the locals sure can stampede the Chik-fil-a, McDonald's, etc in the vicinity. We walked over to Applebee's to grab a beer with some friends and navigating the people queuing up for fast food while on foot is gambling with your life.
