I stopped by the Stirling Mall today, and saw that SC Civil Work is about completed here!

The pad has been poured for the Control Cabinets & for the Transformer.

It appears that this will be an 8 pedestal SC.

The single Control Cabinet was still wrapped up with plastic, but is showed 1200 Amps, 277 Volts.

It's actually 480Y/277V, but you can't really see the 480 volts bit due to the distortion from the plastic wrapping.

So, the switchgear is on site but none of the Tesla hardware is yet. There are a lot of US sites waiting for that back-end V3 hardware now. For the last month and a half all of it has gone to Canada for the TransCanada Highway route. Now that that's all geared up, we should start seeing some flow out to other places. No guarantee on what order the waiting sites will get their deliveries, though. So, there isn't really any way to make a reasonable prediction on when a site will be finished.

This label is from the currently installed equipment (the one previously shown under wraps, photo taken Sunday, 12/29 ). Additionally the Electrical service connections, electrical disconnect and meter can also appear to be installed on a unistrut rack near to the second pad south of this cabinet. I neglected to get a photo of that installation because I had thought it had already been posted. I believe that the southern pad is for the utility's electrical transformer.

It looks as though as soon as the Tesla equipment arrives installation will go quickly because all the supporting installation appears to be largely complete.

Where does the liquid chilling occur? Within each pedestal? Or back at the transformer pad by a single big chiller?
The black cable between the pedestal and your car (on V3) is liquid cooled. The refrigeration equipment is in the bottom 6 inches or so of the pedestal. Everything else is big cables where appropriate.
The V3 liquid cooled cables are in fact smaller diameter and lighter than the V2 uncooled cables.

so are all new superchargers built now gonna be V3? is there list/map showing where all V3s are?

So first, no. There may still be some legacy chargers coming online (under construction now...or so far along in the planning phase that they don't want to change) that will be V2. Additionally, Tesla has stated that there intention is to build V3 and Urban Superchargers (72kW) so you will still see those come online where they feel that is the better choice.

I don't think Supercharge.info will allow you to filter out just the V3 sites. There aren't many in the US just yet (a couple in Cali, 1 in Nashville and maybe a few more). But there are a bunch in Canada on the TCH that just opened that are mostly all V3.
