Supercharger location updates?

I was perusing the Tesla Supercharger website, and noticed that there was quite a few "coming soon" chargers near me (Los Angeles). Quite a few also said coming in 2018. They're probably not gonna make those....

Where can we go to find out the status, or any updates on those planned superchargers, or even where specifically they are going to be, etc????

Also, is there anything other than PlugShare to find charging points???? I'm looking for some mostly at businesses, shopping centers, etc etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!!

Just like in previous years, on January 1st they will just change to "coming in 2019"

There are several others, but Plugshare has by far the most complete database in my experience.

The forum area linked to above (regional and also Calif) is great and I refer to it off and on to see what’s going on in our driving area. Right now I’m waiting to see when the South San Jose gets turned on. But members here will post new finds from city permits, photos of construction when it starts and reports along the way as it gets completed and activated. Then afterwards people will post conditions there including charging rates and other issues such as chargers being down or in the case of one location, road paths to the chargers with cars bottoming out or even squirrels dropping huge pine cones from nearby trees onto a car and cracking the roof glass and denting the roof body as a heads up to fellow chargers. Great resource.
