Supercharger - Louisville, KY - Towne Center Drive

Maybe my terminology is incorrect. I'll just say pre-V2...

BTW, I think the early Superchargers did not have a limit of 90kW, but rather the early Teslas did.
I think you are right. I remember an old style SuperCharger in St. Augustine and it was 120 kW. My P85 was early, but had a ‘B’ battery but ‘A’ batteries were limited to 90 kW. So the limit was the battery, not the SC.

Thanks for setting me straight.

I went on a drive to check out progress and.... It appears that is for a bank has it posted around the entire blocked off site. Which sucks as Louisville needs another location

I also took a drive last weekend to see if there was any progress and noticed the bank signs at the construction site. It is a bit odd given the permit that was posted above that specifically mentioned Tesla Supercharger. Maybe the supercharger will be in a different section of the parking lot.

The supercharger permit has a linked set of the building plans in the attachments. It shows exactly where they are going to go in the parking lot--HERE.

Looks like it's just to the northeast of the bank construction area, on the other side of the parking lot entrance.

So I stopped by on their lunch break and hit up 5 or 6 of the construction guys/installers. Asked them if they had any estimate on a completion date or turn on date for the chargers. They all said no and shook their heads. None of them had any idea including the foreman. As a matter of fact the foreman said “two days ago I didn’t even know I was going to be here.” He said “they don’t tell us anything.” I said I guess you’ve just got to get it inspected before you flip the switch, he said yeah. So take that for what it’s prob worth. They look like they’re making progress and are pretty close.
Don’t know if I believe them (On a completion/TO date) but it is what it is. I DID drive up in my wife’s a Oddy minivan and not my P3D+ so I wouldn’t trigger anyone.
Anyway thanked the guys profusely and took some shots after out of sight of the guys so as to not step on any toes.
Site looks great.....8 stalls.....7 back in and 1 pull up.....why they did that I don’t know as it looked like they had space to install 8 in series. But like I said looks great! Can’t wait. Especially if they’re V3.

For those that aren’t local it’s a great locale. In a shopping district. Plenty of restaurants. It’s in a Meijers parking lot. Also a Kohls, Bob Evans, Taco Bell, Jersey Mikes, Sonic, Target, Movie theater, O’Charleys, Old Chicago, Raffertys sit down and more around the corner. Plenty of hotels as well.
Like I said great location. Right off the Gene Snyder I-265/Westport Rd. interchange. Enjoy!
