Man, I wish this had opened 2 days earlier: I had to have my S towed to Richmond because it would not charge at the house (only had 9 miles of range left). One of the (potential) troubleshooting tips from Tesla: try to charge at a Supercharger. Not sure when I'll get my car back (or what exactly is wrong with it). :(

Looks like it is the battery coolant heater that needed to be replaced. Hopefully, I can pick it up this weekend. If folks want to get together next weekend to celebrate the opening of the SuC, we all meet at Sheetz and then grab a bite to eat somewhere in town. PM me if interested and we can get something going.

A group of local owners are planning to meet at the SuC this Saturday around 10:30 a.m. to meet/greet and celebrate the opening of the SuperCharger. Please feel free to join us and meet some of the other local owners.

Haha, thanks! I plan to write Sheetz a nice thank you and continue to encourage them to expand their offering of renewable energy options. I know of a few folks that plan to be there on Saturday, so hopefully the weather will be nice. I look forward to meeting you then. Cheers!

Thanks to this SuC, my yearly 800 mile trip is now doable with less than one hour of total charging time. Insane!

Of course there is no way I would ever actually "only" stop for 55 minutes. We usually have about 2 hours' worth of stops on that trip.

Had that same issue recently in my S at 74k.
