I just saw the 8 and it didn’t look like there’d be more. Seems strange but maybe they aren’t through adding.

Since there are only two cabinets, my guess would be that the aren't additional pedestals behind the trailer. Also, time to update the location pin on supercharge.info. The correct location is 33.55807, -83.47386.

He also posted that and two other photos to Plugshare. Note the very odd raceways, above ground, to contain the feeder cables. I guess they weren't allowed to trench at this site?

I don't see a utility transformer anywhere, so this may still take a while to go online.

The smaller white cabinet next to the Tesla cabinets? That's likely switchgear. The transformer is usually bigger and dark green.

Those above-ground raceways are worrisome, asking for trouble IMO.

This could be a rush install in prep for the Masters Tournament in Augusta late this week. It may well be reworked with a more permanent setup afterwards so be prepared for temp closure if it opens this week.

No, definitely not. Those prefab setups include both the supercharger cabinet and the charging posts already connected up on the slab

Ok, sounds good. From the limited pictures and the coincidental timing I thought there might be a chance. Either way, as long as Tesla rapidly expands the network then I'm happy.

That said, the installation in Madison does appear to be more straight forward, less expensive and less labor intensive than trenching and burying conduit. If this method of installation continues, it should help accelerate construction and minimize cost. Personally, I think it's unattractive to have all of those cable trays exposed, but it's a small trade-off for several added benefits.

Oh man, I'm going to be in that area next week for a wedding and will be charging with a wall charger at the house I'm staying at. This would be great if it finished sooner.
