Supercharger maintenance

I pulled into a supercharger location in Redondo Beach, California today and saw a Tesla maintenance crew working on some of the superchargers. Thought it was cool that they were all driving teslas and took two pictures of them working on the superchargers.

only bummer was that even though my map showed open superchargers, none were available when I got there.

Did they show available once you got there? (not physically, but in the app?)

Maybe that's what they were fixing?

They were still working on some of the chargers when I got there. Upon leaving I checked again and the number of available chargers appeared to be accurate.

just to be clear to anybody reading this thread, I was more intrigued about the maintenance that was going on, and not so much about what was appearing or not appearing on the available map. Just thought it was pretty cool...
