at least they unloaded the transformer. tying into the switch on the pole, the wires where already on the pole - switch was open with no wires attached from below, however it was connected to the power lines.

All 10 supercharging cabinets are mounted on the concrete pad.
The transformer and additional taller grey Tesla cabinets are also mounted on the pad.

FYI, the 3 green painted FLO CHAdeMO spots were not ICE'd, so there is hope, Markham-ites look to be somewhat aware of EV charging.

Luckily the FLO spots are painted green. Seems that draws more attention to it.

Hoping the non-painted supercharger spots get the same attention from ICE drivers.

Huge progress at the concrete works - tonne of concrete cut and pored. We have some stalls going up ..

They've also reopened the trench out to the street for the input power. Doesn't make any sense though? The 4 conduit were buried deeply just a few weeks ago...

Temps were above zero for a few days in Toronto - just went back under last night.

one can pour concrete down to -30 using blankets and additives - note the blankets in the pics

Exothermic heat produced from chemical reactions taking place during the hydration process in concrete curing - blankets will keep the heat in

Definitely true. They now do new house builds all year round including pouring foundations. I just saw a condo foundation being poured yesterday in Markham. We use to have just two seasons: Winter and Construction season. Now it seems we only have Cold Construction and Warm-ish construction season.
