I'm looking forward to the superchargers at Red Lion Circle to come online. Rt70 and 206 would be a nice bump to LBI and a safe guard against the fear of running low on charge in the pine barons! (Shamong alumni now in Colorado)
Stopped by the Marlton supercharger today. 9 of the 12 stalls were ICE’d and the other 3 already had Tesla’s charging
Anyone that lives nearby think we could post a sign reminding people to only use those spots as a last resort
Not sure if we can do that on our own. Best bet is probably to email the property manager to voice our concerns and see if a sign can be added.

I was there last night for about half an hour - three Tesla's and no ICE vehicles.
Maybe it was just the initial newness of the place?

I've read numerous posts on the traffic here.. know the area well..
So I don't believe these chargers were in anyway placed to accommodate distance driving.
More like a 'destination supercharger'
So you know the drill.. pay for stay in cash, inconvenience or ease of use.
If I had to, I personally would use this location early morning, late evening or even @ 3am..
Doubt it will be blocked by anyone other than the sweeper truck.

This could be more for people driving into AC from Philly until Deptford, NJ comes online. Also it is part of Southern NJ which has some expensive communities around it and good disposable income.
I agree with your comment in general. Good location would have been Rt 38 Costco area or Rt.70 near 295.

I snuck in off the back access road.. Sagemore Drive.. avoided all the traffic on rt 73

saw 2 ICE vehicles parked here legitimately
No one is arguing they aren't parking legitimately. The question is why are they choosing to use those spots when there are so many other spots available. ICEing is not just about illegal activity.
Exactly. These spots aren't even convenient. They are behind all of the stores. I didn't even know about these spots until Tesla build chargers there.

Marlton NJ Promenade Supercharger Grand Opening celebration will be on Saturday May 11th at 11 am. Hope to see all the local Tesla Owners there.

I am working with the Promenade management and Tesla Cherry Hill to see what can be done to improve the ICEing situation and add some teeth to the enforcement.

It would be hilarious, and make a statement, if Tesla owners showed up a few hours early with a ICE car and block all of the spots.

Does anyone know if they plan to re-open a non-Tesla charging station? They used to have one in that back corner parking lot but took it out. Good for us Tesla owners but not fair to everyone else...

That's what I get for looking at a weather forecast too far out...things are changing and it might not be so bad after all.
