Makes sense, it is just north of Tesla's approximate location on their Super Charger Map: Specific Address Would Be: 15252 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068
Marshall, MI Interstates: I-69, I-94 US Numbered Highways (<=5mi): None I-69 From: Angola, IN - 44.4 miles To: Port Huron, MI - 166 miles Diversion: 3.4 miles From: Indianapolis, IN - 213 miles To: End (Port Huron, MI at Canadian border) - 166 miles I-94 From: St Joseph, MI - 83.4 miles To: Ann Arbor, MI - 65.6 miles Diversion: 0 miles From: Grand Avenue (Chicago), IL - 179 miles To: Port Huron, MI - 165 miles To: Bay City, MI (I-69, I-75) - 145 miles To: Grand Rapids, MI (I-69, I-96) - 90.7 miles To: Cadillac, MI (I-94, US-131) - 187 miles Fills a nice hole. Still a big gap along I-69 to Port Huron, MI, so they do need Lansing.
According to the last post on this thread: bdvm1988 | May 19, 2017 Installation began this week. Currently excavation and pouring concrete sub structures. I was told approximately 2 weeks for construction to be complete Upcoming Michigan supercharger | Tesla
This makes Hickory Corners, MI and the Gilmore Car Museum doable from several directions. There are a number of national car museums on the Gilmore campus - fun car place to visit.
Stopped by yesterday to see the progress. Looked like a father/son team finishing up with the concrete work. It appears all of the conduit, posts for the stalls, signs, etc, are in all place.
This is so awesome!!!! We have been eagerly waiting for something in Marshall-ish because without a supercharger here it made travel from Detroit/A2 to west side and back nearly impossible. The car would need to go through Grand Rapids to make it back home. This is great!!! Good job Tesla!
Yeah wish it were a bit closer to Schuler's and Dark Horse but hey this is a welcome relief for the east west travelers and I'll happily take it.
I talked with the contractors and the transformer should be installed this week. They also stated Landsing should break ground on Monday.
The contractors didn't say. I would suggest looking at Meijer. I think this is the second Michigan Supercharger that is not at a Meijer.
