I believe a stall count is a required field on supercharge.info, you should be able to safely disregard that.

Yes, but usually when the stall count is not known the default is 8, which is the most common stall count. Since there is no evidence for 12 stalls and some evidence for 8 stalls I suggest the entry should be updated.

For the rest of the US/Canada, when the actual number of stalls isn't known the default entry is 8. But for California locations the default is 12.

If that's the policy it makes no sense at all. If we have no indication for the number of stalls it should be left empty. If the backed of supercharge.info doesn't allow that, it should be modified accordingly. If that's can't be done from some weird reason, just put 0 for unknown number of stalls.

I don’t think the software supports that, but feel free to make suggestions or provide feedback on its forum: forum.supercharge.info

oh you're right, I missed the 11th one. Here's a screenshot of the footage from another angle. It looks like the 12th one might be on the bottom right under those tree branches.

For v3 chargers, they are generally divisible by 4. While there are a few oddities, it's always due to space constraints. In Merced, I just can't imagine Tesla being unable to find a big enough parking lot to properly fit 12 stalls.

I drove by Merced on the 99 yesterday. They had a team of roughly 15 people working on the chargers with hardhats on. This station will be ready before Q3! Can't wait.

The picture on Twitter shows the car charging. Also the stall availability has fluctuated throughout the morning on my app charging page which means it’s likely already being used.

Really good Supercharger location for when staying at Merced while visiting Yosemite NP multiple days.
My fiancee and I did so 2 years ago.

The supercharger is operating. It is showing in navigation map of the car. It was half full when I went by this morning. The food entries are correct including the taco truck.
