Found the permit application for the Metarie, Louisiana SuperCharger. Permit application was just submitted 2/2/2021. We will be getting 12 SuperCharger stalls. Finally, some charging options on the south shore closer to New Orleans!

I went by today to see if there was any signs of progress but could not find anything. No markings or construction codes yet.

Tesla’s site now shows Q1 2022 for this location. It showed Q2 2021 in January. Hopefully this one doesn’t get pushed back every year like the New Orleans Supercharger has for the last ~6 years.

Possible good news after the updated timeline on their site. They now have a dig permit on OCC. Hopefully this charger and Mandeville are done in conjunction.

Not sure if this is related but I noticed that the the grass median between the parking lot and the sidewalk in front of the store along Veterans was utility flagged when I drove by today.

I noticed the same thing in Covington on Sunday. Small red flags in the grass along Stirling Blvd near the intersection at E Brewster.

Made an account to hopefully provide some updates here.
It looks like they are going to build in the small parking area on the east side of Winn-Dixie, next to the Subway, abutting Lake Ave.
30.001862, -90.124675 if anyone wants to look on Google Maps.
So it looks like they're making some real progress here.
Hope this is useful to everyone here.

I'm hoping to use this charger 6/11/2021 when I will be in NOLA .... it may be close pending the local utility company
