Found a permit from Tesla to install 10 Supercharging stations in the New World Symphony parking garage (500 17th St), near the convention center.

The permit was originally applied for in May of 2018, expired this January, and then was reapplied for and reissued in February. Tesla is still working on this project per CSS records.

Hi Marco,

I see what you mean. I'm thinking that the 959 West Ave location is probably more suited to be labeled the "South Beach" Supercharger since its on the beach. Your designation for the location at 500 17th St as the "Miami Beach Convention Center" Supercharger makes sense to me until Tesla comes up with a label.

No movement on this or the other Miami Beach project for 145 days huh... seems like these are really low priority.

It appears that this site is now under construction. It passed a building inspection for the foundation work on March 12th.

Stopped by this one too. Looks almost done but needs more work done than the chargers on West Ave. There’s still scattered tools and open wireways.

it’s on the 5th floor, northeast corner of the garage. 10 stalls 72kW

I happened to be in South Beach this evening and just popped up to check on this site. Looks complete, but no power to the pedestals. My car did not charge, and my charge port ring stayed dark. Also, I would say they are in the SW section of the garage, not the NE. 5th floor

youre right! It's SW. Always get turned around in garages with all that looping.

It looks like the permit for this location expired on 12/28/2021. I wonder what’s going on.

Very strange. I've popped in on this site when in Miami a number of times. The buildout has been complete for quite some time, but has not been activated for some reason. I stopped checking on it since it looks like it will never be turned up.

Just FYI, the in-car nav refers to this as "Miami Beach, FL - Pennsylvania Avenue", while the Find Us site has it listed as "Miami Beach, FL - South Beach", with the URL slug being southbeachmiamisupercharger.
