As of last Friday there is still construction material, equipment and fencing staged at the site.

Maybe they wanna open the Menlo Park and Emeryville and Santa Rosa SCs all on the same day as this one. Is there a special Tesla day coming up?

I doubt they would do something like that with these non-key locations, but there sure is a special day! September 24, 2012 was the date of the initial announcement & demonstration of the Supercharger network. It was also the day we decided to test drive and reserve a Model S at the Menlo store! This would be the 7th anniversary.

I just saw last night that there's a supercharger icon now at the Great Mall location. Now there's 2 locations in Milpitas for superchargers

Currently charging here! It’s in front of a Red Robin and Chipotle.

Google Map's doesn't have the Great Mall location identified yet, just the EVgo Charging Station. I had to search for the Great Mall and look for Red Robin and Chipolte! Thanks for the reference point @Nle90. The two Milpitas supercharger locations aren't that far apart but one can service traffic on 680 and the other 237, which I think is smart.

Well, the EA chargers are now online too (only their second out of over 20 sites that are under preparation in the Bay Area). Guess they and Tesla were delayed by the same issue (long utility connection processes would be my guess).

At the SC across from Neiman Marcus Last Call. Only getting 61kW so roughly 250 mph, M3D. No others nearby charging. I guess I will be here a while
