Supercharger - Morgantown, WV - Earl L. Core Road

A Supercharger is under construction at the Sheetz store at 1901 Earl L. Core Rd. in Morgantown, West Virginia. This is the second Supercharger in Morgantown. The first one is at a Sheetz store about four miles away and it opened on September 10, 2017. This new one will be a V3 and the plans call for eight stalls.

Seems odd given only 4 miles from the other Supercharger. Good for volume though. 2 major highways in the area.

Agree with the surprise at the location as it is very close to the other site. Excited to have the V3 to test out. I wonder if Sheetz it the primary driver here - a good business model for sales of food.
Also good for younger graduate student owners who live in apartments and need a place to top up since they don't have garages.

As someone who drives in from Columbus for games, it would have been nice to put it at one of the Sheetz in Star City instead of having two on the east side of town.

Whose to say there won't be one there? The Sheetz, RoFo, and Wawa locations aren't announced in advance. They kinda just happen.

No Kidding. I've had pickups with trailers block virtually all stalls on three separate occasions.

This location will hopefully be more stable. I know for a long time people had issues with the other supercharger just down the road. Plus I'm also looking forward to having a version 3 to play with now.

Looks like 8 stalls. One is setup so you don't have to back in. They look to be close. Non operational according to a guy at Sheetz.

I drove by on Friday and it was still inactive. Looked the same as when I took the photos. Still stuff wrapped in plastic.
