Agreed - I wasn't complaining or anything, just noting an observation that I thought was interesting.
We have to be interested in CA superchargers cause we don't have any of our own !! LOL :scared:

Officials in Needles, CA have announced that there will be a Supercharger there by the end of the year:

End of 2014 or 2015?
I hope it was just a slightly optimistic article, and the site isn't being Sagamored, NADA'd or Columbia'd!Because the article was written in Oct 2014, I would hope end of 2014.
Looking forward to not having to sweat out the Barstow/Kingman leg on my way to Tucson from Napa (yes)California.
Check out thread on Mojave. In permitting I gather.Looking forward to a charger between Harris Ranch and Barstow on Hwy 99 above Bakersfield so one doesn't have to go out of their way miles and miles to Tejon. Tesla says they are in the plans, when I emailed them a few months ago. I wonder where.
Needles now shows up on the navi system! Did they sneak another opening?
Must have! It appears on my touchscreen too. I hope this location is better than the Carl's Jr. parking lot in Kingman. When I charged in Kingman in June, I encountered too many sketchy types loitering about in the afternoon. Needles will cut down on charge times in Kingman, that is for sure!
I think the 25 miles or so between Needles and Laughlin makes a difference, especially when going to/from Barstow.I wished I would of known about this last week, drove to Laughlin for a couple days after ces show and drove through needles on way back home to San Diego. It is a needed site, suprised they didn't put in Laughlin not much in needles.
