Supercharger - New Braunfels, TX

This is so exciting. We visit family every summer in New Braunfels. It's not that far to the San Marcos Outlet Mall, but I would much rather shop at Buc-ees while charging closer my destination. Getting the inner tubes ready!

Would be even better if New Braunfels had some level 2 chargers throughout the city like at Landa and Prince Solms park. Still looking forward to Buc-ees though.

24 stalls should keep it line free for most of the time.

Went by Thursday afternoon and they were busy wiring it up. No transformer or HV wiring yet.

As of yesterday, May 24, the fence has been removed, and looks like electricians are out on the job site actively working on the cabinets and stalls

When I went by last night I noticed the transformer was in place and they started laying sod. Should not be much longer.

I went by today and everything is cleaned up ready to go. The cord opens the charge port door, but no juice.

Someone in the "Superchargers Visited" thread, show to have been there yesterday. No problems reported.

New Braunfels Buc-ee's is best Buc-ee's (in Texas) according to this guy. OK, so not very on-topic but having Superchargers didn't figure at all into his rankings and my admittedly biased self thinks it should. Nonetheless, a pretty decent read:

You aren't bias. It's a clear hole in his judgment. Having Superchargers is the clear icing on the cake.

Used this one finally early this morning, showing one other stall occupied, was surprised to find a Mercedes charging! Bucees really makes a great location!
