December 6 westbound. Disappointed that I really couldn’t see any notable difference from a month ago. They didn’t meet Q3 and now Q4 is looking questionable.
I was hoping the pair of stations here, as well as the two other pairs in progress on the Ohio Turnpike, would be up and running for the Thanksgiving travel weekend, which has come and gone. Maybe a Tesla and the Turnpike will have a Christmas present for us this week? Maybe?
Unfortunately it’s not looking like these will be ready for Christmas. Here are shots of the westbound side on Saturday. Also a shot across the turnpike of the eastbound side.
Everything is still fenced in on both.
Drove past yesterday (1/19) and still closed w/fencing up. Did see a mini-bulldozer working the gravel on the eastbound side but that was the only sign of progress.
These seem to have been abandoned as even the temporary fence has fallen over in places. Obviously they need asphalt and a transformer. Notice the concrete is not finished but is already broken. At least there are two garbage cans.

Looks like the far cabinet is leaning/settling and the near cabinet has a nice dent in it. So... was the construction company a mob front or something?? This disarray and abandoned in place forms looks like a check bounced or a contractor did. Either way, a disgraceful look for Tesla and the Ohio Turnpike.
@DriveMe Maybe the potential for federal grant money is slowing down the completion of the 6 installations along the Ohio Turnpike? There was great progress last year and then it really just started to drag.
They do not. For one, NEVI requires simultaneous 150 kW output across all stalls, which Superchargers can’t do in their current configuration. Achieving this would require double the number of power cabinets for the same number of stalls.
