Supercharger - North Stamford, CT

Someone uploaded a pic of this SC on PlugShare yesterday. No apparent change since the first update from tes-s.View attachment 415060

I checked this for an update yesterday and they're still not live.

Seems like we’re just waiting for a bit of a clean up and for the Supercharger to be activated. Photo from PlugShare.

Stopped by today. Still no transformer.
There was a worker there ready to install all this cable (see photo).
Apparently they're locating the transformer up around the bend at the top or side of the TJ upper rear parking lot.. quite a ways away from the supercharger cabinets.
He said maybe a week until the construction is done, but then we have no idea how long until they get a meter installed and power provisioned.

Really looking forward to these.. live in NYC and have family North & South.
Supercharger network North thru CT highways is dramatically worse worse than South thru NJ.
This plugs the gap nicely.. add another Fairfield County location along I-95 and we should be well covered.

Merrit and 95 chargers in south west connecticut are only 4 stalls each side so this is a good improvement.

They should put a high capacity charger in that new high end mall norwalk is building. Prime spot, right off 95. There should be decent adoption of the new mall because Stamford is shutting down their mall and turning it into an expanded uconn campus.

Staying overnight in Stamford in a week for a wedding, was really hoping this would be online by then.. but looks like no such luck haha.

ah, i thought north and south was in reference to Stamford.

I try to avoid 95 unless it's late night/early morning.

Only change seems to be a "coming soon" sign on top of the Tesla sign.

There are bases for lightposts, but it seems the row of trees behind the pedestals is in the way of putting up the lights. It may be a while until this is resolved.

Swung by for Starbucks in my fathers Kona EV, the lights are now powered on the stalls. Will come back in a few with my Tesla and see if working.
