Got this aerial plan from an FOIA. I Added the major street names and an arrow in case the red square wasn't clear. Note that these plans have not been approved.

May I ask what you specifically asked for in the FOIA for this particular type of information? Is there a tutorial you followed?

I just emailed [email protected] and asked for "records related to the construction of a Tesla Supercharger (an electric vehicle charging station for Tesla vehicles)." I also added the tentative location and the BS&A project number, which is JCOMPR21-0003.

They responded the next day with a bunch of attachments.

Was at the Meijer today and did not see any evidence of construction or signs that it would start soon but did see a Rivian R1T using the DC fast charger on the other end of Meijer.

Is that semi tractor still sitting next to the curb that would be used as the base of the electrical components? That thing has been sitting there for over a year. I can't see anything happening until it moves.

Yup. Still there and was actually surprised to lot of vehicles parked around the semi. Never seen so many over that area.

No. This was an empty (no connected trailer) semi tractor that has been there as long as I can remember. At least since before any permit or mention of that site for a supercharger.

Ground breaking confirmed—even so 4 years behind schedule. Also sad that nowadays Superchargers get ICEd before they are even built. I only live 8 miles away and will swing by every now and then to check the status so we don’t depend on out of state status updates Attached picture is hot of the press btw.

I looked up the electrical permit attached to the project (the old one expired March 31st) and it looks like they changed electrical contractors.
