Supercharger - Northville, MI

Current status: 3 packages with 4 chargers each arrived together with 3 transformer boxes.

Great progress! I'll be in MI visiting family mid-May. Hoping to be able to use this supercharger as it's much closer to where I'll be than the one at Middlebelt & Schoolcraft.

Went by there today (April 15th). Looks like a little bit of progress in the form of some poured concrete.

I rolled by today. There was a crew working, but the hardware isn't unpacked yet. Looks like they're working on conduit still.

I will likely never need to use this SC but my office is only a couple miles away. Good to see some more locations coming to michigan.

According to the township records, there's an electrical service release inspection scheduled for Tomorrow, May 10th

The Township inspection was done this afternoon. I was there today around 2:15pm and DTE was on-site working on getting the power from the NW corner and the contractor was working on the v3 cabinets. The new transformer according to the site plan at not in place yet. Looks like it will take at least a few more weeks for this SC to be energized. I'm guessing maybe by Memorial Day weekend.

Was at Meijer today and drove by. Looks like electrical work going on. All of the faceplates were pulled off. There were some guys working in the cabinets at the north end.

As of Monday (05/16), the transformer (green cabinet?) is now in place. DTE was also working at the NW corner and they are done with that work as well.

Almost complete. DTE already put the approved sticker on the meter.

Drove by this morning (5/24). Not much progress other than the cleanup of the material near the transformer. This was early in the morning, so I didn't really expect to see any crew on-site.

I checked tonight and supercharger seems almost ready to go. Only following tasks to be completed:
- Install last missing sign
- Remove fence
- Tesla complete the final inspection
- Flip the switch

I saw a Model Y there today at lunch that might have been Tesla testing the Supercharger. Most of the fence was still up though.

A Tesla employee was working there today and said it should be open no later than Tuesday afternoon.
